So I got a 2021 Starcraft SVX 211 with a 150 Honda outboard, in the battery compartment, there's this little electrical doohickey with some LEDs right now, one green and two red lights are on, anyone know what this thing is and what it's supposed to do?

I think we need more info. But for starters it's likely a battery monitor or charging indicator, green means normal, red could mean low voltage or a fault.

I had a similar setup on my old Starcraft, those LEDs helped me catch a weak battery early. When two reds showed up, it meant the battery wasn't charging right, so I replaced it before it died. Have you tried testing the battery voltage?

Most likely a battery combiner or a smart charging relay. Theyre right, the single green light means your main starting battery is charged and good to go, while the two red lights are a warning that a secondary battery (like for your accessories) is low on juice. Its basically a smart switch that makes sure your engine's battery is always topped off first.
