fuel tank replacement on 1985 MR220V any tips?

Is there anyone here who has ever changed the MR220V's fuel tank? In order to convert my 1984 model to a 4-stroke, I intend to install a new tank. Any warning signs I should be aware of, or suggestions from someone who has done it?

Just for curiosity reasons , why are you replacing the tank ?

Same question for me, why are you planning to swap the tank for the 4-stroke? Is it for different fuel type compatibility, venting, or size?

I think you also need to check if the new tank will fit the existing space without mods or adjustments

Wondering if you actually replaced your tank @WideOpenWater hopefully you checked if the new tank will fit properly with the 4-stroke setup
