To the best of my knowledge, this is the boat that I have! As I said in my introduction, I purchased it and it had been gutted to bare metal inside. It had been sprayed with primer and had been collecting leaves and debris for years. I have really just been doing my own thing with it. I purchased a used 1985 Johnson 70 hp Seahorse motor and I have used the Johnson colors for the boat. Red band just below the gunwale, about 10” wide from bow to stern. Then a White band, again about 10” wide from bow to stern and the entire bottom of the boat is black. I used commercial metal studs for the bottom supports as needed and to build a bow deck platform. I wish I could have been able to purchase the specially made floor panels but had to buy a very good quality untreated plywood for my floor. I used the foam rubber floor covering. In my bow platform, I installed 2 deck hatches and inside is my battery bank, I have 4 batteries, house, spare, start and trolling motor. I have a Blue Sea Systems, SI-ACR Automatic Charging Relay, that will keep my batteries charged while under way. I have a 2006 Minn Kota Riptide Maxium 55 trolling motor. I put a center console in my boat and a Vevor Steering system and a Vevor single engine remote control system. I have been working on the boat again now for about 2 weeks and hoping to get it in the water very soon. Trying to get all the wiring wrapped up and the cables connected to the controller. Just need more hours in a day! And here lately, we have been getting fast moving thunderstorms in the late afternoon which really dampen my work, no pun intended. I believe I should have it ready by next weekend but with the 4th of July weekend, I will probably just wait until the next week to get in the water. I will post some pics in a day or so. Happy Boating!
