I am considering buying a 2015 Starcraft 2000 IO limited but I just learned that the stringers may be wood core.. The 2015 Starcraft brochure states:
"All components are
encapsulated in fiberglass, and on all OB models the stringers are completely composite."
This would seem to say that the stringers on their IO boats are not fully composite, but rather wood core. I've had bad experience with rotting of wood core stringers on older boats.
Can anyone confirm this for me?
